I am a tender and pampered little plant and I am not used to being outside yet! Please plant me in a pot right away. If you cannot pot me up soon, keep me in a cup with my root ball wrapped in wet paper towel until you can find me a suitable pot.
If I am left for long outside, it might shock me with the bright sun, strong winds and temperature changes- I've not had to deal with any of that on the Living Wall, I was so spoiled! Please keep me indoors by a window or in a sheltered and shady location outside and cover me at night until I can toughen up. Please harden me off slowly by leaving me out in the sun only for an hour on the first day and then gradually expose me to the elements for longer each day.
By next week I should be ready to move to my permanent home in your garden, or I can stay in the pot on a balcony or deck. Water me regularly, at least until I am well established.
