We would like give a HUGE thank you to Angus Taylor for finding us all of our supplies by driving around the city to collect pallets, cutting and sanding all of the boards, helping to build the living wall, purchasing all of our planting supplies, and for helping us to plant all of the plants.
We would also like to give a big thank you to Mrs. Delaney (our grade 5 teacher) for making this project possible. She organized activities to help inspire us, she helped get money from parent council and many other places as well as organizing discounts on certain items we needed (with the help of her amazing husband Angus). She helped us prepare for the Mayor's Environment Expo by editing our writing for the website, taking and printing photos, purchasing fancy decorations, creating business cards and helping us put our presentation together.
We would also like to thank all the dedicated students who participated in some part of this project. Some who took part in staining the boards, building the wall and even just sharing ideas. Some students help by watering the plants daily and making sure they are taken care of well.
We would also like to thank some local businesses who helped by giving us discounts and by volunteering their time to help make this project affordable and possible:
Heritage Business Interiors (HBI) - Thank you for fabricating the brackets and lighting assembly for our living wall
U Technology - Thank you for giving us preferential pricing on our LED technology
